Morgan has been baking and decorating cakes for family and friends ever since she can remember. The sweet hobby quickly developed into a passion that led her all the way to The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. After graduating with honors from the Baking and Pastry Arts degree program in September 2014, she moved back to her home state of Virginia to start a cake business. Serving the DC metropolitan area, Morgan offers a designer cake experience at an affordable cost. Morgan's Experience & Philosphy

Working in a variety of different food service jobs over the years, Morgan has experience in every style of pastry - from a Mom and Pop bakery in her hometown of Charlottesville, VA, to the five star, five diamond restaurant The Inn at Little Washington. She worked under talented chocolatiers, sugar artists and artisan bread bakers before deciding that her true passion for pastry lies in the art of cake decorating.

Our cakes and buttercreams are all 100% trans fat free, and you'll never find shortening or any other hydrogenated fat in our ingredient list. Fair trade is a cause that is near and dear to Morgan's heart after having the opportunity to travel to Peru and live on a fair trade cacao farm for a week in college. At MPC we use all Fair Trade certified chocolates and cocoa powder from cacao beans grown in Latin America-the way Morgan believes chocolate was always meant to be. She uses ingredients she loves so that you will love your cake!
